Job summary

J D Wetherspoon is seeking team members to serve food and drinks with a focus on accuracy, speed, and customer service. The role supports a flexible shift pattern across mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes to suit our pub operation.

You’ll take orders, serve drinks, deliver meals and engage with customers to promote a welcoming atmosphere. Training is provided and there are clear progression opportunities within the business.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and a good attitude are valued.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct spec, whether at the bar or via the customer app.
• Deliver food to customers and clear plates within the required timeframe.
• Provide friendly customer interactions and build rapport.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products.
• Maintain clean-as-you-go standards and toilet checks.
• Work across all areas including glass-washing and stock replenishment.
