Job summary

J D Wetherspoon is seeking friendly individuals to join our pubs in Brompton, offering flexible shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends. You’ll work as part of a team delivering food and drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

No previous experience is required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued. We provide on‑the‑job training, apprenticeships and clear progression into team leader or pub manager roles.

Qualifications

• No experience required, just a positive attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different shifts and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct spec, at the bar or via the app.
• Deliver food to customers and ensure check-backs are completed and plates cleared on time.
• Provide friendly customer interactions and build rapport with guests.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products.
• Maintain clean as you go standards, clear tables, wipe surfaces and check toilets.
• Work across all areas including glass-washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer garden duties.
