Are you someone with previous experience working behind a bar in a supervisory capacity? Do you strive to offer the highest levels of customer service?

Goring Social Club is looking for 2 part-time Bar Supervisors who can manage a team and confidently interact with customers.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• General bar duties including serving drinks and food, handling payments, maintaining the bar area.
• Management of bar staff.
• Operational duties such as opening and closing the premises, line cleaning, and restocking.
• Reviewing and ordering stock.
• Ensuring high customer service standards.
• Financial duties including cash handling, till operations, and reconciliation of takings.
• Adhering to safety regulations, food hygiene, licensing laws, and club policies.

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience behind a bar.
• Interpersonal skills for managing staff and interacting with customers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem-solving skills for customer complaints and operational issues.

Desirable

• Knowledge of bar and cellar maintenance.

About Us

Goring Social Club is a members-only establishment in Goring on Thames, offering a subsidised bar, regular events, and hosting local sports teams. You will report to the club steward and interact with the clubs committee members.
