Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is hiring across our UK pubs. You will serve food and drinks to spec, keep areas clean and safe, and deliver excellent customer service. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes to fit your schedule.

No experience is required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. We offer award‑winning training, flexible hours, and chances to progress into team leadership or pub management for the committed.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Bank account registered in the candidate's name
• Ability to converse in English and understand training duties
• Fixed place of residence within reasonable travelling distance
• Basic computer literacy for shift operations and point‑of‑sale use

Responsibilities

• Take orders and prepare/serve drinks to the correct specification
• Deliver food and ensure timely check-backs and clearing of tables
• Provide friendly, proactive customer service and build rapport
• Know promotions, events and new products to inform customers
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards; perform glass-washing and restocking as needed
• Work across all areas of the pub, including bar, kitchen, and back‑of‑house tasks
