People by Freemans is recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff to work at Ashridge House during the festive season. Shifts run 3:30 pm–9:30 pm with 2 staff per shift across November, December and January. This is a temporary, part-time role, and there is no shift on Christmas Day.

• Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted HP4 1NS, UK.
• Job Type: Temporary / Seasonal / Part-Time.
• Contract Dates: 20th November 2026 – 2nd January 2027.
• Shift Length: 5-6 Hours.
• Working Hours: Between 3:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

People by Freemans is recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff to work at the beautiful Ashridge House throughout the festive season.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a lively Christmas environment, serving customers and helping to deliver a brilliant festive experience.

We are looking for 2 experienced Bar Staff per shift, and ideally want to build a small, consistent team who can work together across multiple dates throughout November, December and January.

Whether you're looking for additional evening work, weekend shifts or a regular seasonal opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Shifts:

November:

• 20th, 21st and 22nd November.
• 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th November.

December:

• 2nd–6th December.
• 9th–13th December.
• 14th–20th December.
• 21st–24th December.

December/January:

• 26th–31st December.
• 1st–2nd January.

There is no shift on Christmas Day.

Your Responsibilities:

• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Providing excellent customer service in a busy festive environment.
• Handling customer transactions accurately.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked bar.
• Following responsible alcohol service and Challenge 25 procedures.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous bar experience is essential.
• Confident working in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Ability to travel to Belton House for the required shifts.
• Availability across multiple dates is highly desirable.

Consistency Is Key:

We are particularly interested in applicants who can commit to multiple shifts or full weeks throughout the festive season.

Our client would ideally like the same two members of staff working as consistently as possible, so applicants with greater availability will be prioritized.

You do not need to be available for every shift to apply.
