Job summary

The Chalk, Chelsea is looking for a confident and personable Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. You'll work closely with the management team to ensure every service runs smoothly from bar to restaurant floor, hands-on, leading by example and delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to our guests.

Located just off The King’s Road, The Chalk offers a lively neighbourhood pub with great food, a welcoming atmosphere and a fantastic bar.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy bar, restaurant or pub environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the bar and restaurant team during service.
• Leading by example and creating a positive team environment.
• Ensuring high standards of food, drink and service.
• Welcoming guests and ensuring a great experience from start to finish.
• Training, coaching and developing team members.
• Supporting management with day-to-day pub operations.
• Opening and closing procedures responsibility.
• Stock control, ordering and maintaining bar standards.
• Ensuring health & safety, licensing and company standards.
