San Carlo Group is recruiting for an Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager and oversee daily bar operations across its UK venues, including busy London sites. You will lead shifts, supervise bartenders, and help control stock, costs, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar bar/venue role.
• Proven ability to manage a team and run shifts.
• Strong communication and guest-service focus.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently with good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Manager and support efficient bar operations.
• Cover Bar Manager duties in their absence.
• Perform bartender responsibilities as needed.
• Monitor Spend Per Head and control costs.
• Organise and run duty shifts and rosters.
• Maintain bar stock and budget compliance.
• Manage stock, wastage, orders, invoices and stock levels.
• Ensure two-week rota and forecast rota.
• Assist in recruitment and guest experience during onboarding.
• Maintain Talent Pipeline and training plans for the bar.
