METT Singapore, a Heritage Icon in Fort Canning Park, seeks an Assistant/Bar Manager to lead and develop beverage operations for a premium lifestyle hotel. You will plan menus, supervise the bar team and ensure guest experiences meet brand standards.

In this role, you will manage inventory, cost controls, and training, while maintaining hygiene and safety. The successful candidate has 3–5 years in luxury hospitality and strong leadership, communication, and hospitality skills.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a bar or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including preparation, service standards, inventory management and cost control.
• Proven ability to oversee beverage operations while maintaining high service standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
• Experience with POS systems and reservation management systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate across departments.
• Ability to motivate, train and develop bar team members.

Aufgaben

• Develop and contribute to beverage menus aligned with brand direction.
• Oversee day-to-day beverage operations and ensure consistent service.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular checks, and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain records of glassware, equipment and supplies; ensure proper replacement.
• Track beverage sales trends and guest preferences; drive revenue initiatives.
• Respond to guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Lead and motivate the bar team to deliver personalized service.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor costs and liaise with suppliers for price optimization.
• Coach and develop team members; ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
• Operate bar areas safely; report defects for repair or replacement.
• Provide operational leadership when needed and ensure continuity of service.
