Job summary

Caravan Restaurants is opening a new Bar Manager role at our Southbank location in London. You’ll lead the bar team, set standards for hospitality and safety, and inspire guests from the first impression.

The role partners with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and a memorable guest experience. We’re looking for a kind, confident leader who can coach, develop and motivate the team, while maintaining compliance with licensing laws and health & safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a bar team and managing beverage service.
• Knowledge of health & safety, licensing laws, weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our beverage and service standards are consistently delivered
• Leading by example and helping create the kind of hospitality people want to come back for
• Coaching, training and developing the bar team, sharing your knowledge and passion as you go
• Leading compliance on all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures.
• Managing stock efficiently and taking accountability for the smooth back-end operation of the bar
• Working closely with the wider restaurant team to give every guest the best experience possible
