Job summary

Harry's, part of Ivy Restaurants Ltd, invites applications for a Bar Manager to lead a vibrant drinks program in a welcoming, mid-century inspired environment. You will oversee service, train staff, and drive guest satisfaction while upholding licensing, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in this role.
• Skilled in preparing cocktails and high-standard spirits.
• Excellent English language skills and professional demeanor.
• Friendly, charismatic and able to wow guests with service.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to weights, measures, licensing, health and safety, and fire procedures.
• Welcome guests, take drink orders, recommend and serve cocktails.
• Support revenue initiatives and help meet budgeted sales targets.
• Assist in staff training and liaise with management to develop the team.
• Coach staff during service to maintain exceptional standards.

Key elements of your role as a Bar Manager:

• Adhere to all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures, ensuring these are always adhered to.
• Welcoming customers, taking drink orders, making recommendations, and serving exquisite drinks that delight our guests.
• Support the implementation of revenue-generating initiatives and follow budgeted sales targets.
• Assisted in staff training and liaised with senior management to develop key team members.
• Guide, coach, and support staff during service to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional.

About you:

• You have at least 2 years + experience in this role
• You are skilled in preparing cocktails and spirits to high standards
• You love to wow guests with exceptional service
• You have excellent English language skills
• You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
