Job description

We are seeking Bar & Coffee Shop Assistants (Food & Beverage Assistant) to join our busy Catering department on a full or part time basis. Previous experience of working in a busy food and beverage establishment or bar is essential, while experience of cash handling and till reconciliation would be advantageous.

The full-time position is an average of 37.5 hours per week while the part-time positions are between 15-30 hours per week to include evening and weekend working.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Basic Food Hygiene qualification (essential).
• NVQ Level 1 in Catering & Hospitality (desirable).
• A flexible attitude and approach to work and methods of work.
• Effective interpersonal skills in order to liaise with internal and external customers.
• A clean, tidy and presentable appearance.

And be:

• Honest, reliable and hard working with the ability to work under pressure.
• Friendly, able to work as part of a team and work between food and drink service areas.
