Park Holidays UK is seeking Bar Assistants to join our vibrant on-site team. You’ll greet guests, take orders, serve drinks and meals, keep the bar clean, handle transactions, and work as part of a friendly crew focused on delivering memorable guest experiences.

No prior bar experience required as full training is provided; strong communication, teamwork, and composure under pressure are key. This part-time role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for skill development and career

Qualifications

• Experience in bar/restaurant/customer service advantageous but training provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Basic numeracy for handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring prompt, friendly service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, upholding quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation.
• Work as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
• Provide helpful advice to guests and promote park facilities and services.
• Participate in team meetings and training to improve knowledge.

Overview

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Assistants. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience, whether they are enjoying a drink at the bar or dining with us. Job Duties

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that they receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring that the bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
