Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring Front of House Team Members for Portello Lounge, a casual cafe bar. You’ll join a friendly team, delivering warm hospitality, serving drinks and food, and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Experience isn’t essential — we’ll teach you the rest and provide a supportive environment with growth opportunities. The role offers up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals on every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is not essential; a friendly, proactive approach is valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec — coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
