Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd is seeking a Banksman in the Market Drayton area for a new project starting Monday 19th October. Location is Market Drayton and the rate is £18.00 per hour, with an initial duration of 20 weeks and potential duration of up to 2 years, subject to project continuation.

The position requires safely guiding vehicles and plant on site, coordinating movements, and maintaining site safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely marshal and guide vehicles and plant around the site.
• Direct reversing and manoeuvring vehicles using agreed hand signals and communication methods.
• Ensure pedestrians and other site personnel remain safely separated from moving vehicles and plant.
• Control vehicle movements in and around the work area.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, plant operators and the site team.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and controlled site environment.
• Follow all site safety procedures, RAMS and instructions from site management.
• Carry out general banksman duties as required by the project.
