Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK seeks an experienced Banksman for an ongoing contract in North Greenwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling traffic around scaffolding areas and ensuring site safety. Applicants must possess a Banksman certificate and be physically prepared for this role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, totalling 42.5 hours a week, with a pay rate of £11.90 per hour. Weekly pay

Working for a busy manufacturing & production facility on site who are urgently seeking an experienced Banksman with background in warehouse to work on the site premises.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for controlling all traffic in and out of the premises around the scaffolding area
• Managing traffic in coordination with the gate house using the radio
• Ensuring site safety and site speed limits
• At idle times, you must be able to help in the warehouse tasks, but not disregarding the main function
• Due to the nature of site the successful Banksman MUST HAVE previous demonstrable experience and Banksman certificate/card
• You must understand & be prepared for the physical nature of the role, and be available to start ASAP, ideally within the next 2 weeks.

Hours of Work

• 42.5 hours per week
• 7.30am - 5.00pm (Monday-Thursday)
• 7.30am - 3.45pm (Fridays)
