Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced UX/UI Engineer with strong banking domain expertise to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects. The role blends work from Capgemini offices, client sites, and home, with no 100% home-working.

You will design UI solutions using semantic HTML, CSS, vanilla JS and Web Components, while championing accessibility and reusable components. You will mentor and uplift the team, break work into stories, and ensure adoption of UI patterns and

Qualifications

Strong UI/UX design sense with accessibility in mind.
Experience building reusable UI components and documenting patterns.
Translate requirements into semantic HTML and accessible interfaces.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling edge cases.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end from requirement to design, build, test and production support.
Break down work into stories and tasks; ship iteratively.
Design UI solutions and implement with semantic HTML, CSS, vanilla JS and Web Components.
Improve shared UI libraries, patterns and documentation for adoption.
Champion accessibility and semantic HTML standards through delivery and mentoring.
Pair with others and mentor juniors.
Identify technical debt and prioritise improvements.
