Job summary
Square One Resources Limited is seeking a highly experienced Technical Delivery Lead in Sheffield for a contracting role of 8 weeks. You will drive end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives within a regulated banking environment, coordinating multiple teams and vendors.
The ideal candidate brings strong delivery leadership, technical credibility, and stakeholder management skills, with experience across Agile, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
- Senior delivery leadership experience in large enterprise environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex technology solutions across teams and vendors.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud, and architecture.
- Experience using delivery tools (Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects from initiation to production support.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, and forecasts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, business analysis and testing.
- Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Communicate status, risks, dependencies, milestones to senior leadership.
- Drive delivery using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Manage budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of delivery practices and tooling.
