Frasia Wright Associates is handling a Banking Lawyers role on behalf of a well-established national law firm. The appointment will be in either Edinburgh or Glasgow on a full-time basis.

You will work across financing transactions, with opportunities in leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate lending and ABL, drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents, and coordinating with borrowers, lenders or investors.

Job description

Our client, a well-established national law firm, is currently recruiting for two Banking Lawyers to join its expanding team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow on a full-time basis. The team provides guidance to clients on a broad spectrum of financing transactions across various sectors, with particular expertise in multi-jurisdictional matters.

One position is for candidates with 2-4 years’ PQE, and the other is for those with 4-6 years’ PQE. Successful candidates will be involved in all stages of the transaction lifecycle, including but not limited to drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents, negotiating intercreditor agreements, and managing live lending transactions. Experience in liaising with borrowers, lenders, or investors is essential.

Working closely with both the local and national banking teams, the successful candidates will be expected to support and assist colleagues across a range of matters, including leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, and asset-based lending (ABL). (Assignment 16576)
