Job summary

Lithia UK Head Office Banking Accounts Assistant role on a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working (3 days at Head Office, 2 days home). Based in our Finance Shared Service Centre, you’ll support the nationwide retailer network and handle banking processes.

You’ll process bank statements, reconcile accounts daily, and resolve queries while having the option to pursue AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualifications. Benefits include pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday, discounts and more.

Qualifications

• A clear passion to pursue a career in Accounts, no prior experience required
• Excellent organisation skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability and motivation to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, being highly computer literate with experience of working with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with our dealerships, customers and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication to achieve shared objectives
• Efficiently address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders with a proactive approach, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Processing payable entries from bank statements in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile the bank accounts daily and analyse and review for outstanding items and collaborate with relevant teams to get resolved
• Interpret and clarify policies and procedures related to banking procedures
• Opportunity to undertake an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications
