Job summary

Lithia UK is seeking a Banking Accounts Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is based at Lithia UK Head Office with hybrid working, allowing two days from home each week.

You will process payable entries, reconcile bank accounts, and support a nationwide network of retailers within the Finance Shared Service Centre. No prior experience required; training and opportunities to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA are available.

Qualifications

• Passion to pursue a career in Accounts; no prior experience required.
• Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealerships, customers and suppliers to achieve shared objectives.
• Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders promptly.
• Process payable entries from bank statements accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank accounts daily and liaise with teams to resolve items.
• Interpret and clarify banking policies and procedures.
• Opportunity to undertake AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
