Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting Bank Teaching Assistants to support schools across Bristol on a flexible, 0-hour contract. You will work across a variety of mainstream, SEND and specialist settings, supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive learning environment.

Applicants should have TA experience, be reliable and adaptable, and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. DBS Update Service and references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
• Experience supporting children and young people, including SEND where applicable.
• Be reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils and teachers across a range of Bristol schools, contributing to a positive learning environment.
• Work on 1:1, small groups or general classroom support, including SEND needs.
• Contribute to a flexible delivery of cover, contributing to safeguarding and behaviour management.

Vision for Education are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join our bank staff team, supporting schools across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for TAs who want the flexibility of supply work while continuing to make a difference in the classroom.

Due to the variety of schools we work with across Bristol, you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.

The role

As a Bank Teaching Assistant, you\'ll support pupils and teachers across a range of schools, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You could be working on a 1:1 basis, supporting small groups, assisting pupils with SEND needs or providing general classroom support. We work with mainstream, SEND and specialist settings, meaning every day can be different.

This is a 0-hour contract, giving you the flexibility to choose when you work and take on opportunities that suit your availability.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you\'ll:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
• Have experience supporting children and young people.
• Be confident supporting learning, behaviour or SEND needs.
• Be reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships quickly.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Be able to provide suitable references.
