Job Role: Support Worker at Beechley Drive

Beechley Drive is an enhanced community home providing a community-focused rehabilitation and recovery service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. Located in Fairwater, just outside Cardiff, the home is ideally situated for safe, structured, and gradual reintegration into the local community.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting residents with their daily lives and encouraging independence.
2. Participating in activities outside the home, such as day trips and charity events.
3. Assisting with personal care and supporting residents in house activities and hobbies.
4. Managing some challenging behaviors with resilience and care.

Ideal Candidate:

• Reliable, friendly, and caring.
• Attentive and inspiring to help residents achieve more.
• Able to support residents in activities and personal goals.
• Resilient and capable of managing challenging behaviors.
• Driving is not essential, as many roles do not require a driver’s license.
