Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as Support Workers on a bank basis. We currently have several vacancies and are eager to meet candidates for interviews as soon as possible.

This role is based at Stoneygate Road Residential Home, located in the heart of Leicester. The home is close to main travel routes and is specially designed to meet the needs of 19 residents with various mental health conditions, requiring respectful and dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates are patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities and daily challenges.

Responsibilities of our Bank Support Worker include:

• Providing respectful and dignified support to residents
• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest quality of life suitable for them
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting residents with decisions about their daily living
• Helping with daily activities such as personal care, recreational activities, and outings
• Promoting resident independence during meal preparation and mealtimes

What we’re looking for in our Bank Support Worker:

Ideal candidates will have a caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact. Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. Our residents often have mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities that require respectful and dignified support. Patience, understanding, and respect for individual abilities are crucial.
