A leading care company is seeking an enthusiastic Bank Support Worker in Hexham. This role involves supporting a mature gentleman with a brain injury in his home and community, enhancing his independence and working collaboratively with professionals. Evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts are required, with comprehensive training provided.
JSP specialises in providing case management services for people who have suffered brain injuries or have other debilitating disabilities. We currently provide services throughout the Midlands, Northern England and Scotland. JSP Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We have an amazing opportunity for a Bank Support Worker to support a mature gentleman with a brain injury both within in his own home and within the local community in Hexham area.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual, with a calm and gentle manner and physical capability for moving and handling, to support a mature gentleman with a brain injury both within in his own home and within the local community. You may also support him away from home on holiday within the UK.
You will support him with his rehabilitation programme, liaising with professionals as required, and work to increase his independence, both at home and in the local community. Full training and supervision will be given.
What you'll be working:
Salary: £14 per hour (weekdays); £15 per hour (weekends); £76.00 per sleep-in shift; double time on bank holidays
Employees need a proficient understanding and spoken capacity of the English language - GOR applies

Qualified staff assess clients’ needs and offer individually designed case management and rehabilitation programmes. The company was established in 1994 and is now a successful rehabilitation and case management consultancy, working in close co-operation with the legal profession. We now have five offices employing around 80 staff. We manage over 400 support workers and provide services to just under 400 clients nationally.
JSP Ltd is not an agency. Recruitment of staff for small, personalised care teams is part of our case management service and is undertaken on behalf of individuals using this service.
