Join Our Team - Female Support Worker - Driver's Only

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Salary: £12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: 14-hour shifts from 7.30am to 9.30pm, available Monday to Sunday on a shift rota

Contract: Part-time, Permanent

Driving Requirement: A valid full UK driving license is essential

Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.

You should demonstrate experience with:

  • Moderate Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, and Mental Health (Trauma)
  • Behaviours that Challenge (Physical, Verbal, and Self-Harm)
  • Positive Behaviour Support
  • Compassion and Resilience
  • Holding a UK Driving Licence

  • Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily tasks.

  • Social Engagement: Facilitating participation in activities, social events, and hobbies.
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful, dignified, and equal treatment for all.
Supporting Details

This role involves supporting a person with a moderate learning disability and epilepsy. Knowledge of these conditions is beneficial. The individual can be challenging at times, verbally and physically, so confidence, calmness, and compassion are essential.
