Job summary

Voyage Care's Sunnyside service in Rotherham is recruiting a compassionate Support Worker to help residents gain more independence in daily life, while working within a friendly, dynamic team to improve quality of life.

You will assist with personal care, encourage community participation, support learning of new life skills, and share in activities such as games and outings. DBS checks and a genuine caring attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.

Our residential service in Rotherham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community , the next you could be unwinding with them playing games, watching films or doing activities of their choice in the service.
