Job summary

Shaw Healthcare's Brynhyfryd residential care home in Builth Wells, Powys, is seeking a Support Worker to join a dedicated team providing person-centred care 24/7. You will help with daily living activities, promote dignity and inclusion, and work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, warm environment for residents.

No previous experience is required; we value caring behaviours, listening skills, and a genuine wish to support people.

Brynhyfryd is a residential care home located in Builth Wells, Powys, providing accommodation for up to 42 residents. It offers 24-hour care in a supportive environment, catering to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. The home is designed to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere, promoting independence while ensuring that all residents receive personalised care tailored to their needs.,

The will include, but not limited to:
• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents

• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
