The Role

Providing individuals with practical and emotional care to enable them to lead as independent a life as possible. Flexibility is required as shifts include bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and others, respecting confidentiality.
• Support with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events.
• Maintain accurate notes and records.
• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.

Personal Characteristics

• Diploma in Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Confidence to work independently and in a team.
• Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
• Commitment to safeguarding high standards.
