Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Bank Support Practitioner (Manual Driver only) to provide high-quality, person-centred support across 24/7 shifts at Housing Support Dennistoun. You will assist with daily living tasks, meals, medication, appointments and social activities, picking up 1-2 shifts per week where possible.

Applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be able to work flexibly across early, late, night, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a FULL UK MANUAL DRIVERS LICENSE.
• Flexibility to work on a bank (as and when required) basis, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to provide person-centred support with daily living tasks and personal care.

Due to the nature of this role we can only accept applications from candidats with a FULL UK MANUAL DRIVERS LICENSE.

Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week.

You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. You’ll also provide emotional support and assist them to maintain relationships with family and friends. Some individuals have complex communication needs and use different communication tools to meet their needs.

Shift Patterns:

Our service provides 24/7 support. As part of the bank team, you may be offered:

Early shifts from 7:30am

Late shifts finishing at 9:30pm or 10pm

Waking night

Weekends and public holidays
