Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits around your commitments? If you share our values and you're ready for genuine job satisfaction, then look no further.
We're on the lookout for motivated and creative individualswith a positive attitude to join us in Erskine as Bank Support Practitioners.
Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.
It would be great if you have a full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years' driving experience as many of the people we support have their own mobility cars. However, this is not essential to join our team.
As a Bank Support Practitioner, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care when it’s needed most, helping to ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week.
You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. You'll also provide emotional support and assist them to maintain relationships with family and friends. Some individuals have complex communication needs and use different communication tools to meet their needs.
The people we support enjoy active, fulfilling lives. Their interests range from going to college, having lunch out, and dancing at the disco, to watching football, visiting the safari park, and more. With your encouragement, you'll help them build independence, grow in confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
No two days are the same, and every shift offers the chance to make a meaningful difference.
We are looking to fill these posts as soon as possible and may close the vacancy early if suitable candidates are found.
Closing Date: Sunday 11th October 2026
Please note, our smoking policy applies to this role. Please contact kbellingham@trfs.org.uk if you have any questions.
All successful candidates will receive a conditional offer subject to satisfactory references and PVG checks. Having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector. New staff must register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting.
We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive working environment. We encourage applications irrespective of race, ethnicity or national origin, religion, disability, age, marital or parental status or sexual orientation.
