Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Ward on a bank/Ad-hoc basis, including weekend work. You will provide compassionate nursing care on a consultant-led ward and contribute to uninterrupted patient services.

The role offers up to £25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience, with potential enhancements for unsociable hours. This is an on-site position with a flexible schedule to support hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible and motivated, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to understand and respond to each patient’s needs with care.
• Willingness to work on a ward led by consultants and a matron.
• Collaborate with practitioners across departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Eagerness to gain experience with new practices, equipment and facilities.

Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue‑print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme. The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms.

The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies.
