Job summary

Spire Norwich Hospital is seeking a Specialist Radiographer to join our imaging team on a bank/temporary basis, focusing on CT duties and cross-sectional imaging. You will perform a wide range of CT examinations and maintain high professional standards in patient care and technical quality.

The role requires recent CT experience, effective teamwork, and sound clinical judgement across complex cases, with opportunities for further training and progression within a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Recent/current experience specialising in CT.
• Experience of working effectively within a team.
• Ability to apply sound clinical judgement to complex cases.
• Siemens CT scanner experience.
• Experience in imaging department within NHS or private sector.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CT duties within cross-sectional imaging to a high professional standard.
• Perform imaging examinations with high level of patient care and advocacy for patients.
• Perform a wide range of CT examinations.
• Maintain proficiency in all modalities of X-ray, standing CT, DEXA, and theatre operation specialties.
• Liaise closely with consultants and MDT members.
• Ensure high professional standards in dress, technical quality and patient care.

Spire Norwich Hospital have an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Radiographer to join our imaging team on a bank/temporary basis.

Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team

Duties and responsibilities:

1. To carry out all aspects CT duties within the cross-sectional imaging department to a high professional standard.
2. To perform imaging examinations with a high level of patient care, demonstrating awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients.
3. To perform a wide range of CT examinations.
4. To maintain proficiency in all modalities of X-ray, standing CT, DEXA, and theatre operation specialities
5. Liaise closely with consultants and colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
6. To ensure that high professional standards are maintained throughout the department, in terms of dress, technical quality and patient care.

Who we're looking for:

• Can demonstrate application of sound clinical judgement to a range of complex cases
• Worked in an imaging department within the NHS or private sector#
