Where willl you work?
Hazeldene is made up of two adjacent properties on a quiet, residential street, two miles from the centre of Reading. One property provides support for up to six residents with learning disabilities, autism and associated mental health conditions and complex needs, while the other is specifically designed to support up to four people with a similar profile who are preparing to move on to more independent living. Hazeldene, in an urban setting with excellent public transport links, is an ideal place for residents to build their self-confidence and independence skills, and to access a range of local educational, vocational and leisure opportunities. Residents enjoy arts and crafts, music sessions, cycling, swimming, drama, trampolining, bowling, a weekly disco and regular trips to the nearby Thames Valley Adventure Park.
