Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Brighton is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse for a zero-hour, part-time contract at our private eye hospital. You will scrub in for ophthalmic procedures, deliver diagnostics, pre‑assessment and post‑operative care alongside clinicians in a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or ODP with current NMC/ODP registration, theatre experience of at least one year, and knowledge of private hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year.
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standards of care to patients in a surgical setting.
• Work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre‑assessment and post‑operative ophthalmic care.
