Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker Liverpool Salary: up to £13.00 per hour Hours: Bank. Here is your opportunity to start a career in rehabilitation support work. No prior experience in care or support roles is necessary – we provide full induction, specialist training, and coaching. Working in brain injury rehabilitation involves encouraging and guiding individuals to gain skills and confidence for independent living. You will share in their journey as they overcome hurdles, reach milestones, and achieve their goals. Many stay for about three months before moving on, making a significant impact in that time.

The Role This position is based at Redford Court/Lodge, a 29-bed service in Liverpool, split across two buildings. The main unit has 24 beds, including flats and self-contained units, providing rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injuries. The service addresses cognitive, behavioral, physical, and emotional challenges, with an average stay of 12 weeks. Support involves personalized care plans focusing on developing independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal prep, exercise, leisure, and social activities. Physical needs are addressed as required, with guidance from occupational therapists and physiotherapists. The role includes organizing and participating in various activities both within the service and in the Liverpool community, such as art, music, sports, gardening, shopping, and swimming. The location is a 20-minute bus ride from Liverpool city centre and the Albert Dock. You will find great satisfaction in helping individuals live more independently and pursue their desired lives.
