Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is advertising a Bank Registered Nurse & Registered Nursing Associate vacancy. The Staff Bank offers flexible working hours and opportunities to gain experience across different areas of the Trust with training to enable cross-ward work.

Applications note that the post is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or visa sponsorship, and staff work within the Ward/Department teams following NMC principles and Trust Policies.

Qualifications

• Essential to have inpatient experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Ideally the ability to work a minimum of 12-24 hours per month

Responsibilities

• To work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework and maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
• To work in accordance with the principles set out by the NMC at all times and Trust Policies.
