Qualifications

• Valid RGN NMC Registration.
• Experience in a similar setting is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Registered Nurse.
• understanding of CQC standards/ legislation.
• Strong leader, clinically skilled and well organised.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with PCS and electronic care planning.
• Inspire, motivate and lead by example.
• Flexible rota to meet home needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to residents.
• Clinical assessment of residents with planned, implemented, and evaluated care.
• Promote rights and needs of carers and people with dementia in care planning.
• Liaise with GPs, case managers and health practitioners.
• Communicate clinical decisions to residents, carers and the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Maintain clinical records and provide feedback to carers and others.
• Utilise IT systems to secure accurate resident, workforce and resource data.
• Integrate current dementia care knowledge into practice.
