Job summary

Responsibilities

• Motivate, mentor and develop a team of care staff to meet residents' clinical needs
• Assist residents with personal care in line with individual care plans
• Administer and record medication safely in line with company policy
• Monitor resident nutrition and hydration and update nutrition plans when dietary needs change
• Monitor residents for pressure wound risks and abnormal toilet output
• Liaise with care home management, families, social workers, medical professionals and residents on care provision
• Make recommendations when residents' care needs change
• Participate in and promote resident activities
• Provide professional, safe, high-quality care and support
