Shaw Healthcare’s Ledbury Nursing Home in Ledbury, Herefordshire seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care and leadership across shifts. You will assess residents, develop care plans and safely administer medications in line with NMC standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop, review and implement person-centred care plans.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Location: Market Street, Ledbury, Herefordshire HR8 2AQ
Salary: £22.61 per hour
Working Hours: Bank 0hr contract. As/when required.
Shift Times: Days and Nights available - 12 hour shifts.

About Ledbury Nursing

Nestled in the historic, beautiful and friendly town of Ledbury, Herefordshire, you will find Ledbury Nursing Home. A 36 bed general nursing home, offering a calm and caring home from home environment, the small friendly home is arranged over just two floors and all bedrooms are single with en-suite.

Your Role

• Assessing residents' physical, emotional and psychological needs.
• Developing, reviewing and implementing person-centred care plans.
• Safely managing and administering medication in accordance with NMC standards.
• Leading and supporting the care team throughout each shift.
• Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues while championing best practice.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
• Confidence using IT systems and electronic care records.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
