Bank Receptionist / Switchboard

Location: Northampton

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract

St Andrew’s Healthcare Security Department is seeking a Receptionist to join our Northamptonshire site. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, capable of managing challenging situations professionally, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. You should be smart, presentable, and a team player.

Your role will involve being the face of the hospital, greeting visitors, and managing access for staff, including issuing keys and alarms, and operating remote intercom systems. You will also handle the local switchboard and communicate emergency incidents promptly.

Working under pressure is essential. You will multitask throughout the day, fulfilling all reception duties and providing an efficient switchboard and reception service. Additional responsibilities include sorting mail, general administrative tasks such as typing and report collation, photocopying, and laminating.
