Bank Project Worker

Location: Ballingdon House, 97 Ballingdon Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2BP

Salary: £13.34 per hour

Hours: As and when required

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Project Worker for our Homelessness Service at Ballingdon Street, Sudbury.

We specialise in delivering personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England live independently.

We are a national, not-for-profit organisation committed to putting our customers at the heart of what we do. We support them on their pathways to independence, making a positive impact every day.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their potential and independence.
  2. Assessing needs and updating support plans.
  3. Handling customer queries as a first point of contact.
  4. Building relationships that respect personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  5. Collaborating with external support services to enhance confidence, health, wellbeing, and employment prospects.
  6. Responding to emergency situations when necessary.
  7. Maintaining accurate written records.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Experience working with adults facing homelessness.
  2. Enthusiastic, flexible, with a positive attitude.
  3. Team player with initiative.
  4. Strong organisational skills, plus literacy and numeracy.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  6. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
