The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse for a Bank position across Chapel Street Surgery in Lye, Stourbridge, and High Oak Surgery at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre. The role supports high-quality, patient-centred care in a community setting and aligns with the NMC code.

You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, with training provided for EMIS Web if needed.

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in primary/community nursing is desirable.
• Experience with immunisations and cervical screening is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with policy and guidelines.
• Assess patients, plan and provide appropriate care and follow-up.
• Administer routine immunisations and vaccinations per guidelines.
• Provide travel health advice and vaccinations.
• Undertake cervical screening per guidelines.
• Assess and manage wounds, provide dressings and referrals as needed.
• Support long-term condition management and promote self-management.
• Participate in audits and CPD activities.
• May undertake home visits as required.
