We are seeking HCPC registered Podiatrists to join our community podiatry teams on a bank basis. Our clinics are located across Greenwich and Bexley boroughs.
The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of high-risk patients, including wound dressings, scalpel debridement of nail & soft tissue pathology, and care of foot problems stemming from neglect or lack of self-care. You will work in community clinics, patients' homes, and care homes.
You will be part of a skilled team working autonomously with support from senior clinicians, providing high-quality clinical care and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of clinical experience post-graduation, with demonstrated competencies and ongoing CPD.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, developing, and implementing personalized care plans for patients with complex needs. You should be capable of managing your own caseload, and punctuality and reliability are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Our community teams offer specialist care in Diabetes and Wound Care, MSK, Podiatric Surgery, and Nail Surgery. Travel across Greenwich and Bexley, including home visits, is expected; therefore, owning or having access to a car is essential.
