Job description

Overview

£13.35 per hour. 1-to-1 care based in Dalgety Bay. Full training provided. PVG required if successful. Drivers license required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 care for a client based in Dalgety Bay.
• Support day shifts (beginning as early as 7am), back shifts (ending as late as 11pm) and waking night shifts as required to cover holidays, sickness and absence.
• Assist the client with daily living and help them live independently; support with activities such as TV, films, music and football.
• Be flexible as bank staff may be asked to cover as the first point of contact on the day.
• Care for a client with complex needs, including a tracheostomy and ventilator; all training will be provided on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience not essential; full training provided.
• PVG required if successful.
• Drivers license required for this position due to the nature of shifts.

Hours and Flexibility

Minimum hours/shift patterns and start/finish times can be discussed. Total hours per month may vary and minimum hours can be discussed. Flexibility is essential for bank staff and you may be asked to cover on the day as the first point of contact.
