Job summary
Empowering U Healthcare is recruiting a Bank Paediatric Nurse to provide one-to-one nursing care for a 5-year-old girl with complex health needs across home, school and community settings in Beeston, Nottingham.
This bank role offers flexible day hours, with competitive pay and nurse-led training. You will join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team focused on safety, dignity and high-quality paediatric care. An Enhanced DBS and PICU experience are desirable.
Qualifications
- Registered Paediatric Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience caring for children with complex needs and airway management.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow care plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality paediatric nursing care with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the child in school to enable access to education while meeting clinical needs.
- Liaise with school staff, follow care plans and risk assessments.
- Administer gastrostomy feeds and medications safely.
- Support physiological therapy programmes and mobility needs.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
