Job Overview

Little Millers Day Nursery is dedicated to providing exceptional care and early childhood education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are seeking a NVQ Level 2 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join our passionate team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team along with good verbal and written communication skills. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that support the individual learning journey of each child while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. We are looking for someone who is able to work flexibly during the nursery opening hours.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience of working within a childcare setting.
• Working towards NVQ2 in Childcare & Education, or an equivalent qualification or minimum experience.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Practice Guidance and the Statutory Framework.
• Safe Guarding Children policy and procedure.
