A primary care network in London is seeking Bank Nurses to provide flexible support across the primary care network. Our Bank Nurses provide flexible support across the PCN on weekdays and weekends, carrying out nursing duties to ensure patients receive safe and effective care.
Carry out general nursing duties in line with patient needs.
Support long-term condition management, wound care, immunisations, and health checks.
Provide urgent care support when required.
Work collaboratively with GPs, practice nurses, and the wider healthcare team.
Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients across weekdays and weekends.
We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) based in Waltham Forest, operating as Forest Integrated Health PCN. Our network brings together seven GP practices, working collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our community. In addition to core GP services, we deliver extended hours clinics from Monday through Sunday, ensuring that patients have greater access to healthcare at times that suit their needs. By working as an integrated team, we focus on improving health outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and supporting the sustainability of primary care in Waltham Forest.
The Primary Care Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centred care within the PCN. Duties include general nursing tasks (such as wound care, immunisations, and health checks), supporting long-term condition management, delivering health promotion, and assisting with urgent care needs. The role involves working closely with GPs and the wider healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care for all patients.
