Job description

Bank level 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Provide advanced clinical assessment, triage, diagnosis and management of patients with undifferentiated and complex health conditions. Independently prescribe and review medications within own scope of practice. Initiate and interpret diagnostic investigations and make appropriate referrals. Support admission avoidance and facilitate safe and timely hospital discharge. Lead and contribute to service quality improvement, clinical audit and governance activities. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship and education to staff and students. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners across the healthcare system. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional, organisational and legal standards. Support service development, innovation and implementation of evidence-based practice. Promote safeguarding, patient safety and high standards of patient care at all times.
