Job summary

Bristol Care Homes seeks a Bank Kitchen Assistant for Field House in Horfield, Bristol. You will assist in kitchen tasks, maintain hygiene standards, and support busy service periods. The role offers weekend enhancements and a DBS check as part of the process.

Pay includes £13.45 per hour with 10% weekend uplift and 50% extra on Bank Holidays. This position is on-site and part-time, with opportunities for induction and development within a respected local care home group.

Qualifications

• To comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures.
• To ensure that all kitchen tasks are done to the required standard.
• Kitchen to be left clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are met when using kitchen equipment.
• Keep clean all work surfaces in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination.
• Complete any cleaning tasks that are on the cleaning rota.
• At the end of the shift ensure that all the rubbish is taken out.

Pay:

As an employee (Age 21 years +) you will earn

• Salary: £13.45 per hour
• 10% enhancements for any weekend hours
• 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
