Job summary

Bristol Care Homes is seeking a Bank Domestic Assistant for Beech House in Thornbury. The role covers general cleaning and ensuring the home stays clean to required standards. Bank hours operate according to the duty rota, with a focus on flexibility and reliability.

Pay is £13.45 per hour for ages 21+, with 10% weekend enhancements and 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays. DBS checks will be completed, and Bristol Care Homes promotes equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Be on duty as required by the duty rota
• Comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures
• Undertake general cleaning duties around the home
• Ensure cleanliness of the home to the required standard
• Carry out cleaning and deep cleaning tasks
• Ensure correct cloths and chemicals are used for each job
• Be aware of regulations regarding handling chemicals
• Dispose of rubbish in the appropriate place
• Attend COSHH, manual handling and other training

Responsibilities and duties for the Bank Domestic Assistant role are:

• To be on duty as required by the duty rota
• To comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures
• Undertaking general cleaning duties around the home.
• Ensuring cleanliness of the home to the required standard
